I'm a Maryland-based couples photographer, but more importantly, I'm someone who's always been fascinated by memories. When I was little, I could spend hours flipping through my grandparents' old photo albums. I wasn't in any of the photographs, but I was completely captivated by them. I'd find myself wondering what those moments were actually like, what happened before the photo was taken, what happened after, and what stories only the people in the image could tell.
There's something so special about the fact that a photograph becomes more valuable as time passes. It brings me so much joy knowing that the work I pour myself into every day will someday become someone's favorite memory, family heirloom, or glimpse into a moment that future generations wish they could have experienced themselves.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll probably find me reading a book, planning my next weird photo concept, wandering through a historic town, listening to music way too loudly in my car, or hanging out with my dog, Jax.
More than anything, I want the people I photograph to leave feeling like themselves. Not a posed version of themselves. Not a Pinterest version of themselves. Just them. The laughter, the chaos, the awkward moments, the butterflies, and all the little things that make their story uniquely theirs.
Movies have a way of making us feel connected to people we've never met and moments we've never experienced. A single frame can tell a story, evoke a memory, or make your chest ache with nostalgia. That's exactly what I'm chasing with my work. I want your photographs to feel like scenes from a movie you've loved for years - the kind you revisit over and over again because of how they make you feel.
